Use Cursor with WebikAI

Cursor's OpenAI key override accepts a custom base URL, so chat and composer requests can run against WebikAI's endpoint under your own key.

Setup

  1. Get a beta account and copy your wk_live_... key.
  2. In Cursor Settings → Models, paste the key under OpenAI API Key, enable the base URL override, and add the model ID:
cursor settings
Cursor Settings → Models
  OpenAI API Key: wk_live_...
  Override base URL: https://api.webik.ai/v1
  Add custom model: kwaipilot/kat-coder-v2.5-dev
  1. Press the verify button, then select kwaipilot/kat-coder-v2.5-dev in chat.

Caveats, honestly

The override applies to requests Cursor makes with your key — chat and composer. Cursor-native features such as Tab autocomplete run through Cursor's own backend and models, and Cursor may change how the override behaves between versions. If a feature ignores the custom model, that is a Cursor-side boundary, not a WebikAI outage.
