Terms of Service
Draft · July 2026 · Webik, LLC (“Webik,” “WebikAI,” “we,” “us”)
Draft — under legal review before the founding beta opens.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy govern your use of WebikAI Inference. The service is offered for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract; if you act for an organization, you represent that you can bind it.
2. Service
WebikAI Inference is a hosted, OpenAI-compatible API serving one open-weight model family
(currently kwaipilot/kat-coder-v2.5-dev, Apache-2.0). We operate the serving
infrastructure; we do not develop or train the upstream model. During the founding beta the
service carries no uptime, response-time, or support SLA, access is limited to
invited accounts, and features and limits may change with notice.
3. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for your account, API keys, and all activity under them. Keys are shown once at creation and stored only as hashes; keep them confidential and report suspected compromise to [email protected] promptly.
4. Prepaid wallet and metering
The service is prepaid: you top up a wallet (current minimum shown at purchase) and usage settles from engine-reported token counts at the published price version in force when the request was accepted. The balance never goes negative; requests the balance cannot cover are refused, and capacity errors are never charged. If the engine fails to report usage, the request is not charged. Credits do not expire during the beta. Refunds of unused balance are handled through support during the beta.
5. Model releases and deprecation
Model builds are immutable, dated releases disclosed on every response. A stable exact release
keeps serving at least 90 days after its replacement ships, retirement comes with 30 days of
dated notice plus Deprecation/Sunset headers, and a new upstream model version
is published under a new canonical ID — never swapped silently behind an existing one.
6. Acceptable use
Use of the service must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, with notice where practicable.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service and model output are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Model output is probabilistic and must be reviewed before you rely on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the three months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms with notice; continued use after the effective date accepts the update. Material changes during the beta will be announced to account email addresses.
